English style pockets..

Does anyone know of any venues that host tables with english (round) pockets in Sydney. Also if there are any (WEPF) comps in Sydney.

This city does not recognise WEPF as the dominant cue sport in Australia.

Is two shot on TV anywhere? I mainly see 9ball, 10ball, Artistic Pool and the occassional 8ball, never seen 2 shot.

I know in the Newcastle/Hunter area 2 shot rules prevail but as you can gather it's a little too far to travel coming from Western Suburbs. I may not be the best component of the game of pool but I find the american style pockets on regular pub tables too forgiving and less competitive. There hardly seems a distinction between a good player and a great player. I find the the WEPF game a little more technical.; ▶ Reply to This
