Look at the Australian open tennis it is huge even darts and lawn bowls. Dress codes sponsors big prize money. I think pool federation should adapt some of these rules even like the snooker rules. Proper dress codes. But if a venue can't turn on a friggen air con cause there right a**** then you should wear shorts if need be. Just a suggestion and my opinion only!!!!

I can't believe it only top 8 get paid fair enough but to only get your money back for a loosing quarter finalist. Feel sorry for a lot of the players. That's why there is no one supporting the events anymore. Pool needs a change which means prize money and people. You actually have to win the tournament to break even for an interstate player. Which is totally crap. I hope the players stand up and say what they really mean about the whole situation. Cueball tv put up their own money ech time and dont even get a kick back. What the hell????? It needs to change, and change now!!!!!!

I reckon he saw the prize money and thought why bother. If I knew that I would of sleep in too. Absolute joke in my opinion how the hell is that much money raked out seriously? Is it so thy can make up funds for previous events that were not profitable for the association? I can't understand can some one from the committee or whatever explain the breakdowns?
